This book is one half of a two volume set. Volume 1: The Union is 201 pages long, containing over 100 full color pictures of the Federal army's fighting units and battle scenes. Included are the famous Irish Brigade, Iron Brigade, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Colored Troops, numerous Zouave units plus many more. The author has combined a lifelong love of Civil War history with his hobby of painting and crafting 15-22 mm miniatures in scale scenarios.
