About the Author Mick Prodger grew up in Sussex, England, under the skies where the Battle of Britain was fought. He has always loved aeroplanes and flying, and gained his U.S. private pilot's license in 1984, shortly after moving to San Antonio, Texas where he now lives with his wife. Writer, illustrator and art director in his own graphic design and advertising company, he has been collecting and researching aviation memorabilia since 1985.
