By combining traditional scholarship with Digital Humanities, TransLatin redefines the boundaries of early modern theatre studies and offers a model for transnational literary research. Her research spans medieval allegorical literature and early modern biblical drama. Her current project with the University of Groningen focuses on classical reception and its intersections with colonialism. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Jan Bloemendal, PhD 1997, is a senior researcher of Neo-Latin at the Huygens Institute. He specialises in Erasmus and Neo-Latin drama. He was co-editor of Neo-Latin Drama in Early Modern Europe (2013) and Brill’s Encyclopaedia of the Neo-Latin World (2014).
