Our good communication skills help us to connect with our subjects where they trust us to portray them honestly and with empathy, to create the story telling images that we are after for our clients. We collaborate in numerous ways when working on a project or a quick photo shoot - from meeting with the client when that's possible, to scouting locations, to creating and discussing the concept, to the shoot itself when we are trading cameras back and forth trying different ideas to see what's working, as well as a variety of lighting schemes and compositions. Thru the years we've been published in LIFE, Newsweek, Parenting, California Lawyer, Diablo, San Francisco, Stanford Medicine, Discover, and MIT Technology Review magazines, and completed projects for the Bank of America Foundation's annual report, Stanford Hospital's advertising & branding campaign, The Family Caregivers Alliance in San Francisco, Goodwill Industries, TechWomen, The Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Stanford University's schools of Business and Engineering, The Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans, Rubicon Programs, Project Open Hand, the Stanford Cancer Center and the Stanford Eye Center. We're always looking for challenging and inspiring opportunities to document and interpret our clients' and subject's stories, and we look forward to seeing how we can work together.

Geir and Kate Jordahl bring their love of books and passion for images to the creation of a variety of visual projects.
